BONUS LAB: Get Your Voice Heard at the School Board Level

Major decisions about arts education in your school are made at the School Board level. The most important ones being budget and policies. In this hands-on Action Lab, we’ll talk about practical tips for getting your voice is heard AND activated at the local level.
Newly elected School Board members will take their seats in January, so it’s a great time to get ready now!

Jump into 1-hour workshops to roll up your sleeves, get help developing your ideas, and practice promoting those ideas to turn them into reality. Each workshop can be taken a la carte, but the full series is more impactful together.
WORKSHOP 1: VISIBILITY
Get out there and get attention for your arts ed programs with practices you’ll learn in this workshop. We’ll discuss best ways to promote in these noisy times – and how to assure that a meaningful message gets across to the audiences. . . especially students and families!
